PAWNS IN A GLOBAL GAME November 2016 We are but black pawns in a game, but its rig on one side with only the ponds and the king.  Playing chess with nations can be dangerous, for others it is about filling their coffers; taking advantage of those who cannot play and who’ve never made and changed the rules.  Sadly the black king might even know the next move, but not his own.  Hearing their whispers and accepting defeat, even though the games never ends, yet filling his coffers also. Many come from afar, to watch the game, some even tell us how to play.  Even worst, others place bets on the game knowing the chances are only on their side.  Others even see the game from afar and think they have the winning move.  Let’s bring back the towers so that they may be able to see and be strong, and the horses so that they may run for themselves.  And, let us not forget the message of hope and truth that some call foolishness, crisscrossing this barren l...

WAITING FOR INSPIRATION by: Ken Biddington, March 2017 Sitting in front of my computer, wondering what to write; The mind is busy, thoughts are moving in the mind, but I can’t seem to make sense of it all. Inspiration doesn’t come that easy, you just can’t turn it on when you want. What should I write about? My life, my fears, my joys, sorrows, trials or blessings? It’s hard to stop, think and compose in a world that demands your time and talent. Sometimes I would like my soul to have a pen because it wouldn’t be hard for it to find the words.
